WAVO.ME Overview
Wavo is a new web app that focues on extracting and organizing high-quality multimedia content from user-designated sources such as Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, blogs, video channels, and picture bookmarking sites as well as what other Wavo users are following. You can then listen, watch, discuss and interact with this media directly on Wavo and importantly bookmark your links in an online library similar to itunes, except on the cloud, where they can be easily accessed at any point from anywhere.
This eliminates the need for visiting multiple sites, focuses on rich content, and allows users to save and organize content without ever having to search or download, delivering an addictive and incredibly simple user experience.

The Mission
Today’s challenge is no longer about accessing information but about organizing, personalizing, and enabling the seamless consumption of what’s essential to the user. While this is a known problem, most websites that attempt to tackle the signal to the noise issue often miss the boat by combining information streams without any personalization unique to the user or by failing to deliver meaningful tools to leverage that content.
Wavo is first and foremost a content re-appropriation tool. Wavo allows users to subscribe to the content they choose, extracts what’s important (beginning with multi-media) from the multitude of sources the user frequents each day, presents it in a visual way (ex: embed twitter links visually), seamlessly discusses across all these mediums, and more importantly, allows users to organize and bookmark this content without ever having to download or leave Wavo.
